“The best b&b”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 23, 2012

found this little gem on the internet as wanted a b&b near an elderly aunt who is in a home nearby and it was her 93rd birthday. what a welcome we had a pot of tea when we arrived and homemade biscuits. Stuart and Angela are the loveliest people they showed us round all their animals which are rare breads they really were the perfect hosts and made our stay special they even said we could bring our Aunt back with us. Every where was lovely the bedrooms and the little sitting room with tv dvd etc.you have milk in a jug not little sachets (which other b&b's never give you enough of). everything is done properly breakfast was so good we had yogurt with grapes and bananas melon 4 cereals 1 was homemade muesli ,toast from homemade bread honey and then bacon sausage etc full English you must experience this we cant wait till next year.

A lovely place to relax. The hosts angela and Stuart go out of their way to ensure you have a good time. The food is superb especially for someone with a special medical dietary requirement! Thank you for the delicious desserts!!

The accomodation is very clean and comfortable and nothing is too much trouble. They combine friendliness with ensuring guests also have privacy.

It was also great to learn about how they look after their animals and their plans for the future.

The decor is fresh, the towels and bed linen are good quality and nothing is too much trouble for the hosts who go out of their way to ensure their guests have a relaxing and enjoyable break.

Car parking is good. We liked the fact that when you book to stay here you are the only guests. A great place.

There are plenty of leaflets to enable you to explore the local area.

Had a brief overnight stay at this idyllic location whilst doing some house-hunting. What a little gem! A real getaway frrom the hustle and bustle with hosts who were accommodating without being intrusive. Beautful accommodation - and the breakfast was GORGEOUS. Stay here, you won't be disappointed.

Room Tip: The accommodation has the potential to sleep 4 but if there are only 2 of you, you get it all to you...

I discovered Brynheulog last year and what a find! As a person who travels away a lot with work, it's great to find a 'home from home', where you can relax after a day's work (unless of course, you're lucky enough to be on holiday and can relax there all day!). It's classed as a B&B, but is actually a private section of a lovely cottage owned by Angela and Stuart, with a double bedroom and ensuite shower room, lounge/dining area and another attic bedroom with 2 x single beds if required. It is let for anything from 1 to 4 people/a family and there are no guests apart from your party. The wonderful views of the the Teifi Valley are amazing and the fact that Brynheulog is also a smallholding gives you a true feeling of country life. Angela and Stuart are keen to share their enthusiasm for their rare breeds and as I left this morning, I enjoyed seeing their lovely piglets who are only a few days old. The decor and attention to detail at Brynheulog is first class and a wonderful touch during a winter stay, is that you have your own log burner in the living room which is lit ready for your return home. Stuart is a trained chef. His breakfast really sets you up for the day and on my second visit (this week), I managed to fit in an evening meal (2 courses £21), something I didn't actually manage last year. WOW, was it was worth it! The baked squash is highly recommended. I hope to get another opportunity to visit Brynheulog very soon, hopefully for leisure next time, in order to take full advantage of such a lovely place to stay.

Last year we travelled round the world and stayed in some wonderful accommodation, but for the best hospitality and highest quality we had to go to Wales and in particular 'Brynheulog'. This is the quietest and most comfortable B&B we have ever found...and by far the best value.
You have your own anex consisting of a lovely en-suite bedroom, lounge/dining room and the exclusive personal attention of Angela and Stuart. its also great to wake up to clean air and great views.
