We hired the small self catering cottage for a weekend. The Cottage has 3 bedrooms (1 double, 1 single and 1 with bunk beds) well stocked kitchen and a lounge with SKY (not tested). The cottage was clean and well presented.
We choose to eat evening meals at the B+B. The food was good quality, well prepared and serviced with a smile.
The staff demonstrated both passion and knowledge of the local area by helps us to plan our mini expeditions. Staff ensured we knew how to make the most of Wales and stay legal and were kind enough to listen to us re-tell our hero stories when we returned.

The youngest members of the team took the opportunity to try some of the farms activities. Even with the late notice the staff were happy to look after them and show them the joys of quad biking.

Fantastic hotel in a very beautiful part of Wales, friendly family run hotel. Good hearty home cooked food, excellant for a retreat to the countryside whether you are after peace and tranquility or more adventurous activities, they have a lot to offer. This will definately be on the Colbeck annual calender.

Llannerchindda is beautifully located well off the beaten track but close enough to Llandovery to be convenient.

Lynn, Martin, Mark & Andrew provide a very warm welcome and are a full of information about the local area. Especially those looking to explore the outdoors by 4x4 or trail bike.

Breakfast is fantastic, plentiful and well cooked. Packed lunches are very good and the set menu dinner is excellent! Mark does a fantastic job in the kitchen. The family's welcome, the set menu and the novel "honesty" bar all contribute to the feeling that you are at a friends for the weekend rather than a commercial establishment.

A number of outdoor activities and local guides are available all supported by some very well thought through facilities such as:
* Secure storage for trail bikes
* Workshop to support repairing those minor (or major) problems that sometimes occur
* Boot cleaning station
* Drying room
* Map room (with all the up to date information either marked up or in the heads of MArk, Andrew or Martin)

All in all a fantsastic place to use as a base for exploring the area.

Accomodation is clean and comfortable with rooms in the main building as well as self catering & bunkhouse facilities available.

Absolutely excellant stay, the family and their staff are very accomadating and make you very welcome - the whole farm has a "ski lodge" feel to it with home cooked honest meals and open fire all complemented by the honesty bar.

The family are very knowledgeable about the area and can recomend great lanes and day trips - their off roading site is great to trundle around and get to to know your vehicle.

We have been going there for three years now and fully recomend - the last two years has ssen the Help for heroes European rally have a reunion there and had a fabulous time.

Thank you

I can't fault this accommodation. Wonderful people, great food and great location. We were there as part of a group and despite our numbers the facilities we not over-stretched. The 'apres ski' atmosphere is a bonus. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: The Postcode will take you past the farm. If you use Lat Long on your Sat Nav these coordinates wil...

This is the first time we have stayed here as part of a large group. The food is fantastic with a menu set each night, rooms are clean, comfortable and very quiet. Some say the rooms are small but this is not a massive hotel, so the rooms are big enough given that is a farm style size. We had room 6 which faced the back, it had a double and bunk beds, was very good value, the only minor point is that the toilet was a bit high! The hosts are always very helpful providing all the help and assistance needed. They cater for many events for all kinds (see their website). They have areas for cleaning, storage and barn should you need to make use of it. There are some exellent views from the hotel and is remote enough to make you feel in the heart of the valleys. Really liked the setting, the staff, atmosphere and overall can't wait to return.

Room Tip: Farm rooms are all varied, otherwise they have cottages to use alongside the main house.
