popped into this café 10 minutes before it was due to close, but still received a warm welcome. The owner/staff member willingly kept the café open and cooked a fresh meal for me, my husband and 2 kids. At no time did we feel rushed, and although the café needs a little redecoration, it was clean, friendly and very good value for money. An all day breakfast with tea or coffee cost £4. There are power points at some of the tables so that you can use your laptop while enjoying a cuppa at no extra charge. Children are more than welcome at this cafe, and the owner gave some good recommendations of things to see and do in the area with the kids during the wet weather. Do not expect anything posh, but you will get a cheap meal with a warm welcome.
