I have been eating at Tracks (as they call it) for 3 yrs now and the food is just as good as it was back then. Their BBQ nachos are stellar, and big enough for two. But their black beans and rice is my absolute favorite! I've gone there for lunch, dinner and the occasional after 11pm snack, and the servers are always attentive and nice. Sweet potato and cheese fries are yummy too. Drinks (and I'm talking decent drinks, no crap beer) are good and inexpensive. My only complaint is that at night sometimes the music is a bit loud and it is hard to hear people talk, but hey, why do I need to talk when there is yummy food in front of me! There are always people there, but I've never had to wait for a table. Oh, and smoking on the porch only, not in the restaurant. Woot!

I can understand that local college kids might come here for a burger and a game of pool, but as a tourist, there's no reason to bother. We hauled all the way from downtown b/c of the promise of vegetarian BBQ tofu and a decent vegetarian menu. The decor is nondescript, the service was lackluster, the drinks were small and overpriced, and the food was mediocre at best. Their "famous bbq tofu" tasted like over-fried tofu with bbq sauce on it. wheee. I'm not the veggie - I had a bacon chicken burger with sweet potato fries, both of which were uninteresting.

It's open late, so if you've been drinking heavily all night and want some food, this seems to be the choice for many. Way too many young kids here, being loud and drunk, screaming, running all over, not a fun environment for me personally. Food is mediocre at best; what can you expect when they are trying to accommodate 300 drunk people?
