Fun family museum. Disappointed that you can't really tour the palace, but the guy who built it never actually got to finish it, and no one ever lived in it.

This venue reminds me quite a lot of COSI (Center of Science and Industry) museum in Columbus, OH in its earlier years. The exhibits were interesting - albeit a few were small. What I found really interesting was the huge circus train exhibit. A man built a replica circus complete with circus train, animals, workers, etc. It is also a glimpse into history, too.

There are some areas geared for kids, a planetarium, and IMAX theater. I wasn't able to go to the planetarium and IMAX theater but wish I had been able to.

You will need to choose an option: purchasing regular entry tickets to the museum and add on the planetarium, IMAX theater movie for additional fees.

A neat place.

If you have kids who like dinosaurs and other amazing things of the past, this is a great stop! We adults enjoyed it, too. We saw a film at the planetarium (I fell asleep), and saw all of the exhibits, which were awesome! At this time, they have a robotic bug exhibit. Very cool! We also liked that they had picnic tables outside that we could eat our lunch at when we were done inside.

We saw the meerkat 3D movie. Very interesting and fun to watch. Lots of exhibits to see inside. Went to the planetarium which was informative, but not interesting to younger family member. Would highly recommend a visit for families.

My sole reason for the visit was for the Piggly Wiggly store display in the museum but fell in love with the architecture of the building itself.
