We went to see the temporary photo exhibit about Elvis, which was well done. While there, we explored the rest of the museum. I was fascinated by the replication of the first Piggly Wiggly store. It was cleaner than what one finds at a "living museum", but certainly told the story. The museum is eclectic including dinosaurs to flapper purses. The gift shop has a nice array of items that reflect the exhibits.
Consider taking advantage of the several picnic tables on the well-manicured, sprawling grounds to eat out lunch. It won’t take you long to go through the museum, but if you are ready for a non-music diversion, this might be the one for you.
