“Did You Know Danny Thomas Is Buried Here?”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2013

A beautiful tribute to the life of Danny Thomas and especially to his founding of St. Jude Hospital. Allow and hour and you can take it all in. Allow more time if you wish to see all the episodes of Make Room For Daddy!

“Amazing Building + Memorial Garden.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 25, 2013

Such colour & light within the spacious round building with domed ceiling... peace is felt here.
Outside is a statue of Danny with children as he established the Children's Hospital as a commitment to an earlier decision to do so if he ever became famous.
He & his wife are entombed in a shrine in the Memorial Garden.

“Visit St Jude while in Memphis”

Calm and peaceful. The short movie was very informative and the leaders discussion was also very informative for adults and students.

“Hospital in Danny Thomas' gift to the word”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 10, 2013

No joke, operation treats every child for free. They are in desparate need of Platelets. Please call the Blood Donor center, it takes an hour, you watch a movie and get cookies and juice at the end.

“St. Jude's children's hospital too”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 14, 2013

You need to book this in advance to get cleared by security, but what a fabulous place to see. Free care for children until they are 18. Fabulous philosophy underlying the place. Allow at least 2 hours for the tour, and consider eating in the cafe. Healthy, inexpensive, and really good food.
