There's nothing fancy about Four Way, but I can't help but give it an very good rating for the down home quality of their food and friendly service. A sign on the restaurant says that they are celebrating their 65th anniversary. The outside is nothing special, even a little intimidating with the wire screens on the windows, but go in and you get a friendly greeting. Pictures of friends and relatives on the wall give the somewhat minimal decor a friendly ambiance. The owner is a delightful woman who clearly enjoys pleasing her guests. For $7.49 you get an entree and two sides. Both our chicken-fried steak and salmon croquettes were done with an expert hand. Vegetables were outstanding, including the boiled okra, smothered cabbage, and mashed potatoes with gravy. We didn't do dessert, but I'm going back soon for more.
