The prices are a bit steep for what one gets. The chili is from a can, and the cooks are not amenable to doing anything to order. One eats what they say you can eat and no other way. The food is edible and the service so-so. Patio CAN be nice, but weather permitting, as they do not have any protection.

East End has your usual bar fare, plus a bit more. Never had a bad experience here. Burgers are great if you aren't an adventurous eater. Can't go wrong with anything you order here. Service is great. Go early if you want to eat, later if you want to drink.

My husband and I had lunch at EEG today (5/22/12) and I had the Pop-Boom Po-Boy. It was FAN-tastic! We sat at the bar to eat. The weather was beautiful and the breeze was nice on the patio...but we chose to sit inside. Our server, Brandie was AWESOME!!! The ambiance in the place was cool and the vibe was great. It seems to be homie, loyal, regulars kind of pub with GREAT food. So if you're in the mood, stop by. The menu is HUGE!!! If you can't find something on this menu to order,..you are NOT human. Today's "Sou of the Day" was Seafood Bisque and/or Chicken Artichoke (along with all the regulars). My husband had the Cajun Amberjack (sandwich). It ROCKED!! We went to our appt and then came BACK for drinks and an appetizer. I HIGHLY recommend the Spicy Crawfish Dip. OMG - heavenly (if you're not on a diet). Highly recommend it! :)
