“Best BBQ We Had In Memphis!”
Reviewed October 22, 2013

My husband and I shared a combo plate and it was excellent. Ribs, pulled pork and sausage . . . . ALL EXCELLENT. We arrived as they were opening the doors for lunch and before 11:15 the place was packed. People knew it was great BBQ obviously! Their Apple BBQ sauce was great so we bought one and an original to take home. The waitress was very quick to fill up our drinks and provide us with whatever we needed. The place was very clean and well decorated. That will be a definite stop next time we go back. Highly recommended!

“Best ribs ever!”
Reviewed October 21, 2013 via mobile

By far, the best ribs I have ever had! Definitely get them dry style, they were amazing. Rest of the BBQ and sides were all ok, but the ribs were great. Definitely worth a stop!

“More Great BBQ”
Reviewed October 21, 2013

Sunday night dining with best friends and the food was outstanding. We all had something different and everyone was happy with their choices. We all did the wet BBQ, I did the ribs and shrimp - Wow. We found the servers to be friendly and helpful. Highly recommend you grab a meal here.

“OMG good”
Reviewed October 19, 2013

The ribs here were the best in Memphis. My husband and I split a full slab and they let us have half wet and half dry rub. The ribs were perfect and the fried onion rings were terrific. Not to mention the spunky, sassy waitress. A must eat place!

“plenty of food and everybody is nice!”
Reviewed October 18, 2013

Service: we were greeted by super friendly owner and all staff from the entrance. Waiters are also very attentive and help us with orders.

Ambience: oldies country music and cozy decor.

Food: - BBQ nachos is a great way to start. Basically, cheese, bbq sauce and your choice of chicken or pork are all poured over fresh, crispy nachos. It is good but do not blame me if you are already full without digging on your entree.
- Pork shoulder sandwish is also famous per them but it is okay for me because it faded compared to other star items like ribs. But it may not be their fault as I noticed the same thing at other bbq places as well. Only difference here is they will put coleslow between the sandwish bun unless you requested not to.
- For full rack of ribs, we order half dry rub (this is Memphis style) and half wet (i.e. with bbq during basting). Wet seem to be better than dry half, no overtly messy or sweet compared to some mediocre bbq places.
- Desert also come in really big portion. It is pretty yummy.

In summary, everybody is happy with plenty of food and service and your wallet will also elated. Real value if you compare with tourist trap place like restaurant at Graceland. Only thing lacking is dry rub which is a bit too bland and I have had better dry rub elsewhere in Memphis. So this may not be a place to get dry rub. Or because Corky is a chain restaurant. Again, on a flip side, you can also enjoy good food in other places in Tennesse, Louisiana, Mississippi and Arkansas, I think they are in more than 10 locations.
