“Needs better Service”
Reviewed May 3, 2008

I go to Memphis every summer. I have always went here. Every time the food was good, but the service was a little slow. This last summer (2007), it took almost half an hour to seat us and get drink orders, and they weren't busy. After another 25 minutes waiting for drinks, we left and ate a wonderful lunch at Big Foot Lodge.

Definitely a pub atmosphere with a faux patio opening in to Peabody Place shopping center. Fish and chips with malt vinegar is my favorite. We went to their 2nd location off Colonial in the Target parking lot and enjoyed everything immensely. Except for the toddler literally screeching behind us, the vegetable plate was fresh and flavorful. My daughters split the Shepherd's pie and loved every bite. They were kind to evenly split the portions between them before bringing it to the table.

“Great Pub!”

Wonderful salmon and and an authentic pint of Guinness, chilled and poured the right way! A very cozy pub, you can tell that it was designed and built in Ireland.

“The one in East Memphis...”
Reviewed January 7, 2008

The one in East Memphis is alright. The food isn't spectacular, but it's fine for pub food. The best part is the individual TVs at tables and the big-screen TV in the bar. Plus. the restaurant is non-smoking and still a great place to watch sports.
