All the breakfast options you could want - omelets, pancakes and their special breakfast sandwiches. Conveniently located near downtown hotels like the Doubletree and The Peabody Fast, friendly service. Would definitely return again.

This little gem was about a block from our hotel. It was recommended by the concierge at our hotel.

Biscuits and gravy were outstanding according to my daughter, some of the best she's ever had.

We came mid-morning and while everyone was quite attentive, and informative about the place, owners, menu, and history, when it came to getting our food it took nearly 25 minutes (and there were only two other people dining in the place at that time). And.. then the order was taken properly (or we didn't express out intentions clearly enough) and two items needed to be returned because they were not ordered. The Eggs Benedict had a good sauce but the eggs were not cooked "easy" but medium. Uncertain about if or when I would return.

This place has reopened as a "sister" restaurant to BB Kings on Beale Street. We dined here as a group from a tour, and had the restaurant reserved. Our group was served BBQ, but we were vegetarian, and, so, they served us Pasta Primavera, but it was unlike what is offered on the menu.

On the menu, it says a "marinara" sauce. Our sauce was more like an alfredo sauce, but everything else was the same. The dish was tasty, delightful, and much better than the pasta primavera we had King's Palace a few nights earlier.

The restaurant, itself, is very cool, and historic. The staff were helpful, and courteous. The beverages were competitively priced. All in all, it was an enjoyable dining experience. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Memphis as place where they can expect to find good, decent food that isn't entirely BBQ.
