We make the trek to Memphis several times each year, either for business or just to hang out with my husband's "baby" sister and her family. Yesterday, she met us for a late lunch at one of our favorite places, Owen Brennan's! The restaurant is capacious with a Cajun flair, and the staff is always cordial. I love the tasty crab cakes, and the Shrimp Newberg! Yum!

We also celebrated my husband's upcoming birthday with delicious Creme Brûlée, complete with a tiny candle, and a photo which turned into a popular Facebook post!

Live jazz, good food on the buffet but a bit pricey! 40 bucks each excluding coffee or any beverage. However it is white tablecloth and a more dressy environment!

Attended a function in one of their party rooms. The service was excellent as the staff was cordial and welcoming. Overall, the food was good except for the fried chicken tenders which were overcooked for my taste. I particularly liked the stuffed mushrooms.

Went to a business dinner with a group of about 30. We were placed in a private dining area with a fixed menu. The staff was extremely attentive, food and drinks were served timely and the evening was a great experience.

A hotel employee recommended this restaurant for Cajun cuisine. It is in a shopping center but don't let that fool you. The inside is nice. The service was good and the food good. I had half dozen oysters, and the shrimp grits with sausage .
The price was a little Expense but it wasn't too bad. I would go back when in Memphis again.
