Enjoyed a metal/rock Concert at the Cannon Center. Layout of this venue is perfect, no bad seat in the house. All venue workers were nice and the venue was clean. Rarely do I find clean bathrooms at a metal concert! I now look forward to any performance in my interest to come to this venue. Location is perfect! AC worked, and kept it cool! Very nice!

I love attending any event at the Cannon Center! The acoustics for concerts, the stage for theatrical performances, the interior design truly emulates the style of a traditional European opera house with a modern architectural flair. The adequate elevation of each row to the previous row eliminates my constant worry about the height of the person sitting in front of me. At the Cannon Center I really can sit back and enjoy the show because nothing blocks my view! If you attend a convention or are visiting Memphis as a tourist, take time to attend an event or just visit the Cannon Center! It's a beautiful architectural piece that is as unique as the city in which it is located. Parking is convenient and moderately priced compared to cities of similar size, usually $5 to $10. The Cannon Center is ideally located in walking distance from many downtown Memphis attractions. You will definitely enjoy a relaxing evening out at the theater at the Cannon Center and it will become your favorite theater venue, as much as it is mine!

The Cannon Center, located on the river side of the Cook Convention Center is a GORGEOUS venue to see the Memphis Music Hall of Fame Inductee Ceremony. Put on yearly by the talented folks of the Rock n Soul Museum. The event is so much fun! You MUST go next year. It is a music-packed concert and Induction Ceremony and is open to the public. You never know who will show up... Billy Gibson (ZZ Top) was there this year to pay tribute to an inductee, got to have a photo op with him, a VERY nice dude! The year before last Jimmy Fallon showed up to induct Memphian Justin Timberlake. ALSO: trek over to the Rock n Soul Museum, you will love it.
