“Meh, it wasn't anything spectacular for lunch”
Reviewed July 27, 2013 via mobile

My husband and I ate here for lunch on trolly night. It was meh. It is historical and all but it is all dingy inside. Bathroom was pretty dirty. Food was nothing amazing. We ate both of our sandwiches because we were hungry. Wouldn't come back here.

“Classic American Diner”
Reviewed July 24, 2013

Loved it! We arrived around 10 am for a late breakfast on Sunday morning and we only had to wait 15 minutes for a table (probably because Memphis was in church!). The food was great, the service was attentive, and the ambiance was a step back in time. Prices very reasonable. It is located right on the trolley stop so it is easy to find.

“Its where Elvis ate”
Reviewed July 5, 2013 via mobile

We had to have breakfast here just cause the locals said it was good and Elvis has his own booth. Our waitress was a sight. She was a younger version of Flo. Chewing gum and all. She didnt say kiss my grits but she was pretty close. The food was good but nothing extraordinary. The fact that its the oldest restaurant and Elvis' favorite spot keeps it going. The food is good just nothing to write home about.

“Lunch”
Reviewed July 4, 2013

I have been driving past this interesting restaurant in Memphis for a while. I finally made it for lunch today. The restaurant was established in 1919 by a Greek immigrant it survived everything and is today run by the 3rd generation. The food is average ,the service is average but it is a great restaurant .Lots of history and character. Check it out if you are in Memphis. The whole area is missed by a lot of tourist that only go to Beal street.Check the area out it has a lot to offer .

“Fabulous Diner!”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

My mother and I took a road trip to Memphis, and after enjoying Trolley Nights came back the next morning for breakfast at the Arcade. Reportedly the oldest restaurant in Memphis, we thoroughly enjoyed our eggs and pancakes while looking at all the history in the place. We went early, about 7:15am, and that was good because by about 8am or so they were already starting to fill up. It was a delicious diner breakfast, the staff was very nice, and it was fun looking at all the vintage decor and reading up on the diner's history. I would definitely recommend eating at the Arcade!
