“Unique and Tasty”

Had a great pizza and pie. Unusual menu. Excellent wine selection. Recommend the creamed corn and the summer squash. The secret patio has WONDERFUL burgers after 9:00 . Behind the bookcase door

“Unique and tasty meal”

Had an incredible dinner with friends here- I'd bring lots of friends so you can try and share as many dishes as possible. Loved the sweetbreads, pizza, vegetables, cocktails- really everything, including dessert! We were there late on a Monday night, so were able to chat a bit with the chef.

“Love, love and love!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 23, 2013

From the food to atmosphere to service, this is a fabulous restaurant! I am sure years ago, this restaurant was a family's starter home in the heart of Memphis. Now, it is a quaint relaxing restaurant that serves a new take on old southern classics. For the best experience, I suggest you order several different things on the menu and share with your friends and family!

“Just Go”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 20, 2013 via mobile

This place is far more casual than I expected, but so good. The Red Eye is fantastic; so are the poutine and the cauliflower. The night we were there they had a dessert special that was a blueberry orange pie with a Graham cracker crust and we devoured it. The peanut butter pie was a little heavy for my taste, but to each their own. Definitely a must try restaurant if you are in Memphis.

“WOW in Memphis”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 17, 2013

Just reviewed very favorably yesterday July 16, 2013 by the New York Times, the same day I ate there. This is very far up on the food scale and not the least bit traditional. This is for foodies and you will be disappointed if you are not one. Parking is also unique because there is almost none on site. You will have to go a long way away to find something more interesting than this place.
