We loved this museum. I did not realize the impact of this studio on, and the caliber of musicians that recorded here. I've been listening to the Stax cd I bought since our visit!

“A bit of a drive out - but worth it”
Reviewed October 12, 2012

Impressed with the stuff they have and you just have to see the car with more carpet than anyone's lounge (wont spoil it for you). A worthy place to go as there is a music foundaion next doo.

“Marvellous exhibits”
Reviewed October 10, 2012

This is a great museum with loads to see. A good 2 or 3 hours worth of exhibits including Isaac Hayes' car - amaaazing. We only had an hour or so to look round as it was part of an organised tour but well worth a visit.
