In a town that screams BBQ, this place has to be one of Memphis' best kept secrets! Lots of delicious food at a reasonable price with just a hint of a Jamaican atmosphere. Three of us dined on appetizers of Salt & Pepper Shrimp, fried green tomatoes, and cod fish fritters...all very delicious. Main courses of Kingston Fish Stew (just a tad too much vinegar) and Appleton's Rum pork tenderloin paired with authentic rice & peas and a delicious pineapple slaw were very satisfying. We had enough pork leftover for a doggie bag! You have to search for Evelyn and Olive as it is off the beaten path, but well worth the effort!
