Had lunch here on a Monday. The building inside is kind of pretty with the brickwork. The food was decent and at a good price. The guy who served us wasn't the friendliest guy at first, then warmed up a little later.

Long story short, I have some very good friends who's daughter is in St. Jude for leukemia treatment, so we were looking for a more family friendly venue than Mulligans so the whole family could get out. Tried Ferraro's mainly due to the fact that it is literally in walking distance to the grizzly house and was pleasantly supprised by the quality of the food (and also the $2 beer specials!). Good pizza, sandwiches, & soup. The $5 medium cheese pizza special is well worth a try if you're downtown looking for a quick bite.

My husband was born and raised in New York, and like many New Yorkers he craves his New York pizza. Since Ferraro's opened, he can have his pizza whenever he wants. Mike, the owner, is a baker from New Jersey who knows how to make just the right crust. The house special is a traditional New York pizza with cheese and minced garlic. So good! They also have desserts - delicious fresh chocolate covered cannolis and New York style cheesecake. My husband says the cheesecake flavor is right on, but the cake is a bit creamier and less dense than his favorite cheesecake in New York. That doesn't stop his totally going into cheesecake heaven when he eats it.

The atmosphere is casual and friendly, the waitresses are attentive. There are three large screen TV's usually tuned to sports events, but with the sound off and music playing. If you are there at the right time, you might see local Memphis movers and shakers or even nationally famous music celebrities heading to the private party room in the back.
