“More than just "bar food"”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2012

Make no mistake, Bardog is a great bar. But the food takes the place to another level! The high-quality food served here surpasses that of many restaurants. Everything on their menu is flavorful, fresh, and unique. Try anything that comes with french fries: the light seasoning and the homemade mayo make me crave Bardog fries. Some of my favorite menu items include their club sandwich, the meatballs, the grilled cheese, the tomato soup, and the sliders. And make it a point to come by for brunch, served starting at noon on Saturday and Sunday.

The bartenders and servers are welcoming and warm. It is one of my favorite local places, whether I'm stopping by for a quick workday happy hour or late-night with a group of friends.

“Poo Poo Dog”

Loved the Poo Poo platter. Like a traditional Poo Poo platter, the combination of things made no sense, but it was all delicious and comforting.

“cold beer”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 30, 2012

Met here one afternoon with friends and business associates. It was crowded and loud with the feel of a neighborhood bar. I liked the decor and setting. We sat at the bar and had excellent attention from the waitstaff. Happy hour included $1 off beers, which were still a bit pricey, but this is downtown Memphis.
