Loved the river walk, which is a 3D representation of the Mississippi River, from its beginnings to its end. And, of course, while you are strolling along the river walk you are actually strolling along beside the actual Big Muddy ! There is an outdoor amphitheater that is the coolest venue in town for concerts (unless it rains !) To get to Mud Island you may hoof it on the suspension walk way or travel by the tram. Both provide great views of the Mighty Mississippi !

It is a great view of the Mississippi River. You walk along a historical rendition
of the river while walking along the actual river. So much history and so unique.
We made homemade boats to see who's traveled the best along the river. The
kids love the water, and I loved the museum as well. You can rent paddle boats at
the far end and get some more exercise. I love the view of the city from there as well.
Great day of fun with the family. The museum is the only charge. You can park for
free by going over the bridge and coming in at the North side of the park or take
the tram over which does have a fee.

Enjoyed everything about the park. Museum was much better than we thought it would be. The model of the Mississippi is fun to walk around, signs could be better. Be sure to ride the duck paddleboats if you have children with you. Also, buy a rubber duck in the museum and watch it as it goes down the Mississippi into the Gulf of Mexico. Best time to go is when temperatures are in mid 70s to mid 80s. Bring a picnic lunch or buy lunch in the park.

Pros: beautiful views of the city and Mississippi river, nice area to take during warm weather

Since is not much to see or do in Memphis I would recommend to take a walk around this area. It's really beautiful and peaceful (check my reviews)
