Took my granddaughter there, and she had a wonderful time. It's really first class. It is personally overseen by a former Memphis Mayor who takes great pride in offering a quality experience.

We visited here recently on a trip to Memphis. It was my 7 year old son's favorite thing to do in Memphis. He had a great time with all of the activities, but especially liked the Mississippi River. We spent about 2 hours here. It was not crowded when we got there, but was getting crowded when we left. There were lots of thing for him to do in lots of different areas. There were areas about health, safety, banking, shopping, and the Mississippi River. There was a skyscraper you could climb, an airplane you could climb into, an airplane you could drive, cars you could repair of "gas up". There is also a rock climbing wall, fire engines, police motorcycles, and "green screens" where you can dance or play an instrument. They also had a nice Lego play area. The gift shop had a nice selection of toys and the lady was extremely nice. We didn't eat there, but the restaurant looked like it had a fairly good selection of healthy food.
It was definitely worth the admission price. We would definitely do this again if we were in Memphis. I would suggest going early and beating the crowd.

We had our granddaughter's 6th birthday party here. There was so much to do and adults had just as much fun as the kids. Our favorite was the little grocery store where the kids could "shop" for items, then act as the "cashier" and ring each other up.

Very large children's museum. Many different areas with great learning/fun activities. They seem to be very well supported by the businesses and individuals in the community. It seemed expensive ($12/person), although when I mentioned that, the staff person said they feel it is in line with the other attractions in the city. Since I am affiliated with a children's museum that works very hard to keep prices low, I disagree with their philosophy. Great place for families to visit, though.

We are the kind of grandparents who go searching out places very often that we think our two "grands" will enjoy. This was one such stop. Favorite places was the portion of the actual Fed-Ex airplane, with its oppportunity to sit in the cockpit and to watch packages load and unload on a coveyor belt. There is also a life-size police cruiser, motor cyles, and old-fashioned firetruck. Surprisingly our two spent most of their time on a clever slide contraction that managed to provide both a thrill and safety in each slide. A rock-climbing wall is adjacent. A miniature grocery allows little ones to fill carts with food, then work the cash register. A model Mississippi River with real circulating water rounds out things nicely. The kids-version of a Jason's Deli didn't appear to be in operation, so don't count on a meal there necessarily. It appears to be a good place for a birthday party as well.
