Empty beautiful building. Bass Pro will hopefully make this gorgeous building into something wonderful.

The Pyramid closed its sports venue upon the opening of the FedEx Forum. It is in the process of being converted to a Bass Pro Shop and is to open in 2014 and is closed until then.

This is one of the most ugly constructions in the US that I saw so far. Between the Parthenon in Nashville and this thing I sincerely don't know which one is worst.
They should demolish it.
If you want to see pyramids you should go to Egypt or at least to Vegas.

It's a shame that Memphis allows such icons to go so far downhill that it is now a BASS PRO SHOP !! REALLY???

My daughter was a patient at St Jude hospital, which is just a few blocks from the pyramid, and I watched this building as it was built. It started life as a basketball stadium, it saw it's share of concerts, and I even when to the circus in this building. The pyramid is a very unique building, and well worth the visit.
