When we dine out we look for interesting/ excellent food, great service and fine ambience.
We enjoyed our lunch at Flight. We loved the idea of wine flights with food flights and we're not disappointed. We had excellent flights of three chardonnays paired with lobster bisque, seared scallop with jasmine rice and a chopped red pepper relish and an excellent shrimp and grits in a mushroom sauce.
Also, three well selected Calif Pinot Noirs including the Meiomi paired with an America style charcuterie.
The service was spot on. The decor was modern with good space between tables, but a little worn.
The wine list was impressive and appropriately priced with a handsome bound carte.
We will return to try their dinner menu.
