Went with a school trip, The house was in good shape and the tour guides had a lot of information of the home and Memphis.

Don't miss this gem if you're in Memphis. Our tour guide (A.J.) made this home come alive with lots of local color and history. It was so obvious that this home was a life passion - his details about everything from period-dressed mannequins to spectacular furnishings, china and crystal really made the tour a cut above (way above!). Was nice to learn that he changes the decor 4 times a year, so repeat visits can be made. My husband and I have recommended the tour to friends and will definitely return again when we're in town.

This is a don't miss tour. Our tour guide was super and very entertaining. The home was amazing for those interested in Victorian homes with tons of history. This is an amazing home furnished with lots of thought and knowledge and decorated by seasons. A must see in Memphis!

I'd go back because I just love old homes. If no one else was around I'd lay in the yard looking at it for hours or stare at every detail inside. Although, the architecture is a bit more ornate than some, it is just what you would expect to see with antique rooms and furniture. You don't see everything and they are not making much money for the up keep. It is the average house tour.

I took a class in this house required to complete my interior design degree at the University of Memphis. We had free rein of the house, sometimes being in a room alone. Things in sealed cases were sometimes askew.....
