Embassy Suites by Hilton Memphis
Ranked #35 of 138 Hotels in Memphis

I enjoyed my stay here, although the furniture in the living room is in pretty sorry shape. The bed was very comfortable, however. I got a tremendous kick out of the four ducks that are in the lobby area. They were too cute!!! Embassy Suites should spring for free internet as most hotels do. This is one huge negative for me as the cost of the room is expensive enough, so they could at least throw in free internet!

Typical ES older format prototype needing updating. Cramped seating, average food are no longer hooks to stay here. Far better values in and around city. All good here just behind times in terms of fit and finish

We love Embassy Suites but this hotels needs renovation. There wasn't a comfortable place to sit in our suite because the furniture is so old and worn out. Walking past the other rooms as they were being cleaned by housekeeping staff, we could clearly see that most of them were in the same sad shape. Beds were comfortable, breakfast was good, love the ducks running around but we won't return or recommend this hotel until they update the couches and chairs.

My family loves staying at Embassy Suites! We always check to see if a city has one before we book a room. We have stayed at the Embassy in Memphis multiple times, but haven't stayed here in a year. Every time we hoped it would get better it didn't. We'd always stay on the weekend and each time the same thing happened. People booked rooms for a "family reunion" then locals (who aren't staying there) show up for the Manager's Reception and breakfast. We could barely get through the long lines before it's over! The pool was entirely over-crowded for the guests to swim for the extra locals. It was easy to tell that there were non-paying people taking advantage of everything, because a huge portion of the rooms hadn't been booked. This is the only Embassy Suites we've ever been disappointed in - EXCEPT for the bellman. He was a joy!

Room Tip: Higher floors are quieter. Lower floors have worn out rooms and sometimes no amenities - like a hair...

This hotel went way above and beyond in service and hospitality. I was here for a business event and truly enjoyed my stay. There are lovely ducks that live in the lobby that were entertaining and heartwarming.

I stayed here for one night when my flight was delayed and I couldn't leave until the next morning. I knew that they had a free shuttle to the airport, and I really enjoyed the room. Modern looking and very spacious. The lobby/atrium area was awesome! They even have fish and ducks living in there! All of the plants are living, which I thought was pretty awesome. Made a great atmosphere for dining and lounging around.. you don't even feel like you're in a hotel.

The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, but the room furnishings were worn, the upholstered furniture seriously needed cleaning, and the wooden tables were all scarred. Very disappointing as Embassy Suites hotels are usually first-rate. The room service meal we ordered from the restaurant was marginal at best. The breakfast offerings were plentiful and tasty. Hopefully, the owners of the hotel will soon do some much needed renovations. Until then, I will choose another facility nearby; not worth the price of the room.
