stay was a quick overnighter, hotel filled all my needs. Only wished I brought a bathing suite for the pool. Very generous provision of an early evening drink and also a generous complementary breakfast.

We loved EMBASSY Suites - but this property just wasnt up to their standards. Crowded hotel full of kids running around, over crowded pool, and a tired lobby. The hotel associates were so friendly and helpful. The woman working the happy hour and then breakfast was so thoughtful and kind.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the main lobby. Dont stay on the first floor!

The good - This Embassy Suites has the same look and feel of most of the older generation of the brands hotels, which I like. Heavily landscaped with fountains and water features plus this hotel has a flock of ducks, I assume to pay homage to the Peabody.
The bad - I have not had that much trouble getting and staying connected to the Internet in a long time. Breakfast service was very slow, and my weekend days were very slow and other self serve items were not well stocked including utensils. It was hard to eat my eggs and cereal with my hands.

This is a very nice hotel with good customer service situated east of downtown. We fully enjoyed our stay. The atrium adds a very special feel that you're far away on vacation. Everyone from the front desk to the kitchen staff (who were on break) were very hospitable. The suites are very well appointed. We were even given complimentary tooth paste and razor/shaving cream.

Manager on duty that night I stayed was horrible. She made our family feel uncomfortable. She was a security guard even though one was in place. Hotel is clean, breakfast was good. everything other than customer service was fine

Nothing had seemingly changed since our last visit to this property in 2005. Lately, we've won bids through Priceline and stayed at nearby 3.5 star hotels at half-price. On this visit, however, we opted for the convenience of a full breakfast, indoor pool and the privacy of a two-room suite. Service was exemplary and staff in the breakfast area were particularly welcoming.

Our first room assignment was not set up the way we wanted and the front desk staff quickly changed our room. It was quiet (no hallway or ceiling noise) except for the plumbing in the morning. Bedding was comfortable. If there could be a nightlight in the bathroom, it would be ideal to not have full lighting around the clock. Frig and microwave included but microwave was installed at toddler level and there was no easy way to unplug it.

One of the less liberal policies that differs from many hotels is that Embassy Suites usually requires 24 hour advance notice to cancel a reservation without charge.

Stayed at Embassy Suites for 2 nights while going to gin show. Suite was very nice and breakfast was great. Would recommend if in the area. Check in and out were very easy and clerk was very nice. They have freshly cooked omelets and then go across room to pick up sausage, potatoes, and such. The breakfast is what brings me back time after time.
