I have given this a 3 star rating only because I am personally not a Rock n Roll history buff, but if you are you will walk away feeling content and complete :-)
Even for me though, it was extremely interesting and I walked away knowing a lot of interesting facts than I did before the tour. I don't regret it at all and enjoyed it.

Yes the place is very small but it is amazing. There are only a couple of small rooms but the history and the memorabilia - wow. The tour guides were amazing - so enthusiastic and passionate about music. To think this piece of history that housed the "million dollar quartet" meet up was nearly lost to the many things it was after a studio - laundromat, auto body shop. The people who have recorded and continue to record here - you can feel it in the walls. Definitely a must see in Memphis.
My tour at the Sun Studio was great! We only had a day in Memphis and decided to go to the studio, as we heard that was a "must go" place in Memphis. It did not disappoint! From the ambiance, to the history, to our tour guide Clara - it was an awesome experience! Our tour guide was clearly passionate about Rock, the guys at the door were super welcoming, and the studio itself is kept up pretty well for how old it is. Great tour for a great price.
Thought this would be a fun place to visit to round out our trip to Graceland/Memphis. Sun Studio turned out to be the favorite destination for all of us in our group of 6! Standing in the same studio where so many realized their dreams was a very emotional experience. The tour was very well done; highly recommended!
The tour guide made it fun, small tour, only two rooms but you feel like part of history when you're in there.
