“A cultural landmark”
Reviewed August 15, 2014

Both the permanent exhibits and the one on now -marisol- we're really fun to see. Our kids liked the interactive section.

“Marvel at Marisol”
Reviewed July 22, 2014

The Brooks Museum has done it again! You must see Marisol's "sculptures and works on paper." This is an unusually fascinating show where you can learn about the artist and see many of her works. The show is until September 7, 2014.

“Excellent Museum”
Reviewed July 19, 2014

The regular museum exhibits were excellent. They had some really ancient pieces upstairs. The map of the museum was helpful as well as the audio tour which is included in the entry price. The place was adequately staffed. Didn't care a whole lot for the special exhibits.

“So thankful for "family" days at The Brooks”
Reviewed July 18, 2014

We typically go to the Brooks when there are special educational/child-friendly events because they are generous enough to offer free admission. We have attended the Day of the Dead as well as some of the summer programs (Wacky Wednesday). On our most recent visit we viewed the Marisol exhibit which included several interactive activities for young children. We are so thankful that The Brooks welcomes children and inspires young minds.

“Excellent”
Reviewed July 10, 2014

An impressive collection of paintings and decorative arts, much better than anticipated at a provincial museum. The museum building has an interesting design, and is well situated in a large park. Friendly and helpful staff.
