“Music and Food”
Reviewed December 8, 2013

We were in Memphis, so we wanted ribs. The ribs were good. The beer was cold. The prices were about reasonable. If you go out for dinner and also talk, the music is kind of loud when it is live. If you go for the music it is well worth it.

“Great fun”
Reviewed December 4, 2013

went to grab a bite for dinner with two kids and another adult. We had to pay a cover carge at the door to get in??? I thought it was odd to pay if we were eating a meal but the band was good so ok we paid to get in. Shrimp and grits were good, my 10yr old boy ordered a cheese burger and now refers to the restaurant at Burnt Burger King because his burger was crispy. There is a drink called the hoochie coochie that they have that I like.
The entertainment is great, the wait staff was nice and attentive, the food lacks some. All in all it's a tourist trap.

“Not worth the time for the food”
Reviewed December 4, 2013

First let me say that my husband and I went to Memphis for our vacation and was looking forward to some good ole famous bbq on Beale Street. Since we heard that Beale Street can give Bourbon Street a run for its money NOT. Beale Street no let me rephrase that Beale block and a half suck it can’t hold a candle to Bourbon Street. To me it’s just living on its hay days name and that's sad because it look as if it could somewhat tangle with Bourbon Street. But anyway back to BB King, we went there the band was good but the ribs were burnt and taste like they were in an oven not a smoker. The only good thing on my plate was the French fries so that should tell you something. The place was crowded and they charge to get in which I didn't mind if the 10 dollars came off my food since I was basically there to eat not to club but it didn't. The waitress however, was really nice and I can’t remember her name. Also if you are looking for something a little spacious don't look here it’s very cramp.

“Not near as good as Las Vegas location”
Reviewed December 3, 2013

Our family was visiting relatives for the thanksgiving holiday. We all were from ohio and decided we must get down on Beale St. We chose this restaurant because we had visited the one in Las Vegas a few years ago & it was awesome. Beale street location was too dark in dining areas and very cold we complained of this &no heat was turned on, we all ate with our coats & jackets on. Food was just ok, and not served very hot. Once outside there are bums begging for dollars & change. I think the restaurant should try to go a lil more overboard with larger parties or do they NOT care since they auto add 18% gratuity! Very COLD in restaurant.....not happy at all about this .

Great little joint to catch some live music. Food was good...had rib plate but nothing to write home about. It was great to also get to see Beale Street.
