A co-worker and I were in Memphis on business. It was a cold November night in Memphis (it had snowed the night before), so Beale Street was kind of dead. We were looking for somewhere to get barbeque and live music, and ended up at BB King's. The BBQ ribs and chicken (and beer) were excellent, and the show put on by Memphis Jones was incredible. Not only are these guys incredibly musically, MJ tells the stories behind the songs - of the performers, songwriters, and studio gurus that made the Memphis sound famous. Stories that I, as a 30+ year musician, was not aware of.

The music is very good too amazing, it's consistent, and the food is surprisingly good for a music bar. Do try the ribs, delicious!!! I always go back!

Food is not exceptional but it is not bad either.
The service is not very fast and there were a lot of mistakes made in our orders, admit we were with 11 which makes it no so easy.

We go to this resturant every time we come to memphis for the entertainment and the food is good too.If you want to experience some good blues music while in memphis I would recommend BB Kings for the whole deal ,food and music.

I've been to BB Kings many times. It never fails to impress! The musical talent is always good, the food is excellent for a club, and the atmosphere is overall great.

Mind you this is a club with loud music and limited space. It's not somewhere to go for an intimate evening - it's a place to hang out, listen to music, have a few drinks and some good grub.

My only downer would be the limited amount of space, and there is always someone in the bathroom handing out towels, trying to suck up tips.
