Owner description: Beautiful theater holds musical and stage performances.

This theater is so beautiful. I've been to two of Londons WEST END Theaters and they are no where as spectacular as this one. The seats are all good. If you are in Memphis, do not miss it.

The Orpheum is an old theater that was wonderfully restored a few years back, just beautiful.
Depending on when you are in Memphis---you might get to see a major Broadway production, if you can get tickets---locals stand in line for tickets. I live about thirty miles outside of the city and I have missed many good shows.
It is one of the few great things that Memphis has to offer.

I have seen many Broadway musicals here from "Cats" to "Phantom of the Opera". All were as well staged as productions on broadway (I also saw these two musicals on broadway). The acoustics are fine. The theater itself is interesting. Parking is easy to find, and there are a number of bars and restaurants within walking distance.
