Well, if you are coming here then you have to do this visit, don't you? It was OK but I wouldn't bother with he other exhibits.

from beginning to end everything was well organized. pretty interesting this villa. a good idea from elvis´s wife to set it up with all his interesting collections of furniture, records, stage clothing and family grave. gives the fans a feeling as if he lives...elvis lives in our memories.

Elvis was an icon. I felt the audio tour was too impersonal. The staff were monitone and unfeeling. The cheap plastic flowers on the gravesite were deplorable. The ability to see his home and display of his accomplishments was amazing. The staff needs a major overhaul. This staff is deplorable.

The tour went at a good pace - time to see it all, but not standing around too much. You have an audio tour, not with a guide. The audio is available in several languages. We went in Feb., which staff said was the slow season; although I thought there was a lot of people, so high season may mean more waiting. The home is very nice - not the mansion I expected, but big when you remember it was built in 1939 and Elvis moved in in the 1950s. You only tour the downstairs and basement. The bedroom areas are closed. Staff said it is becasue Elvis never allowed anyone up there other than family so they keep that tradition. The side exhibits were nice - cars, planes, the 1968 Special. The 68 and Hawaii exhibits were small and seemed more like a chance to get you into a gift shop, but still added to the overall experience. During the home tour you see his gold records, items from concerts, press clips, etc. There is very little about his death or pictures from the last year or so of his life. The tour ends at the gravesite of Elvis and some of his family members. (What a great singer and personality he was. Like so many others, a great talent cut short by drugs.) We spent about three hours total for all the exhibits, and purchased the Platinum Tour (middle) package. Again, it was the slow season. You may need more time during high season. All in our group enjoyed the tour, even those who are not big Elvis fans.

I admit this review will be biased because I am a big Elvis fan.

I was last here seven years ago and it was awesome to be back. It was my wife's first time here and while she likes Elvis, she is not as big a fan as I am. She left Graceland with a better respect, understanding and appreciation for the man and for Graceland.

Whether you are an Elvis fan, a casual fan or a music lover, you need to visit Graceland at least once. We did the VIP experience and thought it was worth it for the extras it gave us.

If you are a Sirius XM subscriber, make sure you stop by the Elvis radio booth to say hi. Great people.

We spent the entire day there and will go back before trip's end to look at the shops more and mke some purchases.
