“Was dissapointed”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2012

Had looked forward to visiting Graceland as I grew up in the Elvis era. But the tour itself was ok but I th ink quite of the people on our tour were dissapointed that you are not allowed upstairs in the mansion. Graceland could certainly stand a little sprucing up too. It just seems everywhere you turn you are being dunned to buy souverniers, have never seen so many shops.

“It cost less to go oto his concerts”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2012

I have been an Elvis fan since 1956. To visit Graceland has been on my "bucket list" for some time. It was worth the effort on my recent cross country road trip, but I can't say the same for the price. Parking across the street from Graceland is $10 - there is no other free place to park. Then the admission charges. One charge for just the house, and other charge for the house and the planes, yet another for the full tour including the house, the planes and the cars. If you go all in for the "VIP" tour it is $72 per person! There are no tour guides. For your money you get a set of headphones to listen to pre-recorded messages at each stop. There are however "guards" everywhere. The mansion tour only included the downstairs, and the little office building that Vernon Presley - Elvis's father - used fro his office. You also get to see the racquetball court which now house many of Elvis's costumes and awards.
I am glad I visited Graceland, but I am sorry my visit cost more than I paid to see Elvis in person when he was alive.

“House Excellent”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2012

We found the house and gardens tour to be excellent. You could feel the vibe of Elvis around the place. A must if you go to Memphis. Did the VIP tour found the house excellent and the rest a bit boring....but that's a personal view. We could see why people would like the other bits, though.

“Graceland”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2012

If you are an ELVIS fan or not this is an AMAZING place to visit to be allowed to walk through what was once his house is AWESOME and we loved every single minute in the house. To see all the furnishings, pictures is just Fantastic. Then to walk into the Hall of Gold and look at how much ELVIS achieved and his awards words do not do it justice. To see artifacts from the films he starred in. Then to walk into the Racquet court and look at the awards and disk's presented to the Estate words again fail me. To see the horses out the back looking happy and healthy and the good work they still do...... Then the final to be standing by Elvis' graveside and paying your respects to this wonderful man, emotional is all I can say........

“THE BIGGEST HIGHLIGHT OF OUR TOUR”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2012

Being great Elvis music fans this was the highlight of our tour and not disappointing. The Mansion was lovely and has just been left as it was. It was like walking in Elvis's footsteps. The meditation garden is where Elvis is buried with his family and is beautiful and brings a tear to your eye. The museum is also a must with all his cars including the pink cadillac. Also to visit is the Lisa Marie jet which you can go inside. Fabulous day here
