This is a great museum, but remember the topic. This is very sad, but a needed reminder of how far we've come.

Well we stumbled on this place and what a pleasant surprise it was. So well done and everything just seems to run so smoothly. Very moving and to see where MLK was killed is emotional and informative.
Great museum, everything easy to read, great visuals of where and how things took place.
Would recommend to anyone going to Memphis.

First off, pretty much every city in the US has an MLK street and "I have a dream ..." is one of the most inspiring speeches in American history, so I couldn't pass by this landmark.

MLK was killed at this place, so the museum is mostly focused on that crime. It's really well preserved and recreates the feel of that time. Also, it's really amazing how they found and presented a lot of the original evidences, so the visitors can see them and make their own sense out of the story.

There are also some materials about the whole liberation movement, but the main focus is really on MLK and it's reasonable.

Overall, this is a great place to visit.
