We spent 4 nights here during our visit to Memphis. Our prepaid rate was very cheap, average including tax just over $100 per night, so this was a great value stay.
Check-in was smooth and staff were always helpful and courteous.

Remembering that it is located in a business rather than tourist area, it is at least a 10 minute drive to any of the local sights; downtown is about 20 minutes away.

The hotel does not have a restaurant but there are probably a dozen food outlets within a 10 minute walk, so that's not an issue.

Breakfast is typical of Hampton Inn, quite adequate for us, although I'm not a fan of re-hydrated eggs.
On one morning the hotel was quite full so we had trouble finding a table to sit at because the overflow area was under renovation; if there is a criticism of breakfast it is the possible shortage of table space.

With parking and internet free this a great place to stay if you have a car.

On the downside we were disappointed that our soap and shampoo were changed after the first night, we had to remind the housekeeper not to replace towels that were hung up and she ran the dishwasher even though we had only used 1 plate.
Without these "environmental" mistakes we could well have rated this hotel excellent.

We did speak about the issues with the Executive Housekeeper who thanked us for our feedback and commented that staff training on these areas was ongoing.

Room Tip: All rooms are probably quiet because the hotel is off the main road, however those to the back of the hotel are even quieter

This hotel, although located about 12 miles out from downtown/Beale Street is actually an excellent place for exploring the Memphis area. It is located just off of Poplar Ave which is a welcome stratight-shot-to-downtown alternative to the "mega-loop" freeway approach to the main tourist areas otherwise imposed by our GPS system (to be avoided during rush hour). For example, our trip to Graceland (in the surburbs) was much more plesant from here than if we were staying near Beale Street (exciting but a bit scary at night).

The staff's great attitude and level of service - and amazing breakfast - were really appreciated for our 3-night stay. The room was in excellent condition and the beds very comfortable in our king bedroom suite. The free coffee 24/7 and WiFi are a big plus - we hope to come back again for vacation!

The hotel utilization was for a business trip. Very nice hotel with a courteous staff. Spacious bedrooms and bedding extremely comfortable. Kithen area not too large, but enough to offer a moment of great food preparation. Highly recommend.

For a 1 night stay after visiting Graceland this place served its purpose. The pool was dirty (bugs and debris). The room was missing the laundry bag. I called the front desk for it and they said they'll bring it up but it never came. I called again...this time they asked if I can come down to get it.

This is an overall nice hotel with a good location and friendly staff. The complimentary breakfast was above average and the common areas were spacious and well-appointed. Free coffee is available 24 hours a day and wireless internet is included as well.

We got a 2-room suite to accommodate our four-person family. We were disappointed to find that the refrigerator wasn't cold when we arrived--we pulled it out and saw it wasn't plugged in. When we plugged it in, it made a loud noise so apparently was malfunctioning. We reported it to the front desk and the person there offered several solutions including changing rooms and having a maintenance person come look at the refrigerator, but none of the solutions was convenient for us so we lived with the nonfunctioning refrigerator. She did try, though, to fix the problem.

In the afternoon of our second day there was construction in the hallway outside our room and in the room next door, and unfortunately it was at the same time that our toddler was trying to take a nap. There was also construction in other areas of the hotel including off the lounge and on the patio outdoors.

This seems like a nice property overall with a good location and a very friendly staff but the issues that we had were somewhat disappointing. I would still stay at this hotel again if I was in the area.
