Certificate of Excellence

We returned back to Invergarry Hotel with friends after many years, and we knew that the hotel has had its ups and downs over the past 30 years.
We need not have worried, the welcome, the service were very special and this is now a very, very good hotel.
Nothing was to much trouble, for example my wife asking for fruits that were not available on the buffet, the offer of help with our luggage and a delicious dinner served with a smile in a delightful bistro atmosphere.
Breakfast was excellant, served in a spotlessly clean room and the coffee was as good as I have had anywhere. Having been in the Hospitality business all my life I know a good hotel when I see one.
The room was great, overlooking the River Garry surrounded by beautiful trees which create a wonderful soft landscape in this beautiful part of Scotland.
We will return next time with friends and family as we know that the hotel is now in the capable ownership and hands of Susie, Nigel and an excellent team. Thank you all.

We stayed for a week in early September at the Invergarry Hotel and what an absolute joy it was.Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, the room and the facilities were excellent.
The restaurant was outstanding, really outstanding and the chef went out of his way to find out out personal requirements and obliged.Rarely can one expect to find such service and quality/value for money. The Invergarry deserves every accolade possible for the quality and level of service it provides.

Stopped on the spur of the moment for a late breakfast en route south. Excellent breakfast menu with a good range of options and reasonably priced. We ordered a traditional cooked breakfast and a vegetarian cooked breakfast. All items were high quality and cooked with care and attention to detail. The atmosphere in the brasserie was friendly and service prompt. On the strength of the breakfast visit alone will certainly return to stay.

This is a gem of a hotel, run by a young couple who have made an excellent job of the hotel. Since we discovered it last year it has grown in popularity but lost none of its charm. The food continues to be outstanding (Sea Bass, Haddock the size of a whale with the lightest batter ever, and the waffle and bacon breakfast is a must!). It is wise to book a table now due to the increase in the popularity.

The rooms are superbly decorated to give the feel of a Sunday Times Supplement sort of place. The location is off the beaten track but a perfect place to base yourself to discover the Highlands - Loch Ness, Plockton, Eilean Donan Castle, Skye, Urqhuart Castle, Fort Augustus are all within an hour or so by car.

Our third visit and definitely not the last

Room Tip: Master rooms are well worth the extra!

Stayed for a 3 night mid week break. The room was very comfortable, excellent bathroom and warm. The staff were very attentive and polite. Breakfast and dinner were first class. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

While walking around Loch Oich we stopped for coffee at the Invergarry Hotel. It was in such a lovely location, and the staff were so friendly that we decided to try to return if only for one night. That visit was made a few days ago and it was everything we hoped for. We had the room named Master....it was really excellent, comfortable, warm, well furnished and with a great bathroom. We were greeted like friends, shown to our room and then to the residents lounge where there was a large open fire burning. We had dinner in the comfortable, and busy, restaurant. Our meal was fantastic, breakfast was too. I would love to return to the Invergarry Hotel for a much longer stay. It is so well placed to explore the Highlands and has wonderful walking right on the doorstep. I would happily recommend a stay at this hotel.

Room Tip: The hotel information warns that the standard rooms are in the roof space so may present some proble...

We didn't stay here, but stopped by for dinner. It was fantastic. I would recommend the burger and also the cod. Service was very friendly, too. I liked that they had signs asking non-patrons who used the toilets to contribute to the childrens' Christmas party fund. The toilets looked tired but again there was a sign saying they would be refurbished soon. Great attention to detail.
