A wonderful place to stay. Peaceful , calm and so welcoming. Pat and Malcolm are wonderful friendly hosts. Breakfast was in the cosiest of dining rooms ... Oh and the porridge was excellent Pat ! Our room was large , immaculate and very prettily decorated with attention to detail ... Yes I loved those pillows too! The house is surrounded by magnificent scenery and despite the weather it was so beautiful. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Room Tip: The yellow twin room at the back didn't have a view but was very quiet and beautifully decorate...

Great 2-night stay! Our family occupied three rooms and everyone (ages 17 to 50's) agreed that it is a wonderful B & B! The rooms were very clean, the beds comfortable, and the Scottish breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. The location, being only three miles from Fort Augustus, was an excellent base for touring the Highlands! Malcolm and Pat were lovely hosts, with Malcolm advising us of the more scenic routes to take and points of interests to see, including a great overlook view of the Eilean Donan Castle. Thank you, Pat and Malcolm!!!

We spent a night at Netherwood, and were very pleased. Pat and Malcolm were welcoming and helpful with driving advice for the next day. The room was large, comfy, and quiet. We loved the setting--watching birds in the backyard and deer in the field across the way. Excellent breakfast, warm hosts, restful sleep...it's a great choice!

My friends and I booked Netherwood for one night while competing in a nearby adventure race and we were all extremely happy that we did. Pat and Malcolm couldn't have given us a warmer welcome despite us rolling off the hills in a bedraggled, wet and muddy state with nothing being too much trouble to them. The rooms were very clean, spacious and had all the amenities you could wish for including free wifi which was appreciated. At short notice we had to request an extra bed and despite being fully booked this was provided with no fuss.

The house is situated in a peaceful spot with great views out across the Great Glen meaning a restful sleep was had by all. Breakfast was offered as early as we liked as we had to be up early for day 2 of the race and again this was of no bother to our hosts. The meal itself was plentiful and well cooked setting us all up for the long day ahead.

I would recommend this B & B to anyone staying in the Fort Augustus area and I hope to return one day.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay in Netherwood B&B. The rooms were decorated with lots of taste in pastel colors, and the bathroom were very comfortable.
The breakfast was delicious! The dining room was lovely, especially with the little candles on the table.
Our hosts were adorable, very nice and talkative, very keen on talking about their various experiences and also was is a must-see in the area, and beyond.
I highly recommend this B&B if you want to say in a cosy B&B with welcoming hosts.

You could not recieve such a warm welcome than the welcome we recieved at Netherwood. From the moment we arrived to the hugs when we left we were made to feel relaxed and totally at home. Pat's cooked breakfast was just perfect and set us up for a busy day's sightseeing while Malcolm was always on hand with a map and great advice for travelling and sightseeing (oh and his tea and toast is pretty great too).
Our room was just delightful and it was a joy every morning to wake up, pull the curtains open and see the wild deer that were there every morning.
We loved our trip to the highlands and it was made so much better by the care and attention we received from our hosts.
Thank you both so much, Jacqui and Heather Warren x
