This hotel enjoys a wonderful location (persuade somebody to cut back the scruffy trees/scrub sprouting across the road and despoiling the view) and both the facilities and decor are of a very high standard. Excellent chef and good food offering, however one aspect needs to be addressed, seriously! Owners/management not themselves au-fait with hotel management. Young local (bonus!) staff very enthusiastic and pleasant but oh my goodness: headless chickens comes to mind in both the dining room and the (busy) bars. Urgent need to hire an experienced head waiter for dining room and similarly experienced batman/barmaid for bars before much longer into The Season.
