I came here for dinner one night and had the Dover Sole, which was a special. It was cooked to perfection and was just delicious. The service was good and the view was absolutely beautiful.

Once I discovered this cafe I visited it three times across the week! It is in a great location, right by the harbour in Arisaig. The food, freshly prepared, is locally sourced and absolutely delicious. The staff are all lovely, professional, friendly and do their utmost to ensure every visit is a pleasant, relaxing experience.

The three lunches I had were all excellent BUT it was the two cream teas I had that were superb-large home made scones, home made jam from raspberries grown across the loch and served with fresh fruit too!

Super food and efficient service! The soup was deliciously homemade and I had a pork belly, apple sauce and fried onion panini with lovely side salad.

We visited twice during our three day trip to Arisaig. The first time we had hot chocolate and a scone, both delicious. The scone was the best presented scone we have ever seen. Next day we had a burger, served with salad, at lunchtime and this too was lovely and certainly convinved our friends to make a further visit. As stated by others this is more of a cafe/bistro rather than your conventional restaurant. However, it is perfectly comfortable with great sea view and very efficient service. We will certainly return on our next visit to the area and wish the team every success.

Our hosts sent us for dinner to Cafe Ruh. The cafe is not a high premium restaurant, but we didn't expect that.
It's really a small restaurant, more a Cafe style, less restaurant. So the interior is not that special.
We then got very impressed by the food which was really really good. The citchen is really doing a good job.

If you're around there you should have dinner there (we prefered it to Mallaig). But don't forget to make a reservation, it's pretty frequented by the locals (which is always a good sign).
