We were delighted to stay with Helen and Pete who made us so welcome. No-one visiting could ever be disappointed and they deserve praise for the time & effort they put into making guests feel at home. We shall return!

The beautiful garden with a B&B sign drew us in - an excellent first impression! Our hosts Helen and Peter provided a service that certainly lived up to that initial impression. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms immaculate, beds comfortable, towels deep luxury and breakfast for male member gargantuan. Alternatives of fruit and yogurt were provided for non cooked breakfast eater. Local Bladnoch inn served good food after a day spent exploring the area. We will certainly be back hopefully in the near future.

After a last minute decision to come upto the Dumfries & Galloway region, we rang on the Friday night quite late to see if a room was available for the next day & was there room for our Westie Milo, we were in luck and boy did we drop on with Brora Lodge, Helen & Peter were great hosts, and as we were in the area looking at property, we enjoyed the discussions about the running of a B&B and whether it would suit us as it so obviously suits Helen & Peter, We would definately want to aspire to the standard of quality accomodation & food that they have achieved, should we decide on such a venture too.
Only a short visit that time, but certainly will return in the future.

This is the the most welcoming B&B my wife and I have ever stayed in, both Helen and Peter could not have been more genial hosts. It is, as one of the previous reviewers has said, it is like being in a friends house.

Everythin,g the accomodation, food, setting and conviviality of both Helen and Peter is perfect. Can`t say enough obout it.

It`s a pity it is so far away from us or we would definitely be back often, as it is we shall definitley return and soon

Excellent Bed and Breakfast situated in Wigtown the book capital of Scotland. Hosts are fantastic, nothing is a problem, breakfasts brilliant. The Hotel overloooks the mountains and you can enjoy the views of the Lake District over the Irish Sea whilst enjoying one of the BRORA breakfasts. Good location for golfers.

we have just had a wonderfull 4 days at the Brora-Lodge in Wigtown, the rooms were very comfortable and everywhere was spotlessly clean, breakfast was excellent and a good choice of menu, Helen & Peter are a really lovely couple and nothing was to much trouble, the veiw from the conservatory and garden is fantastic, the whole area is well worth exploring. Food at the Wigtown Ploughman and the Bladnoch Inn is very good. Watching the Osprey in the county hall in Wigtown is worth a visit. we will be going again.

This B+B is spot-on. Everything has been thought of, any requests are dealt with promptly, it is spotlessly clean and the owners are terrific. Its location is wonderful, both within Wigtown, and Dumfries and Galloway in particular.

So there you go, well worth a visit.
