When asking about a place to eat, the Crown seems to edge out its next door neighbour....probably due to price and dome say, quality.
We never actually ate in the restaurant, preferring to take advantage of the great weather and eat al fresco out front. Good atmosphere with loads of day trippers.
I had the seafood platter and it was awesome... not 1st date food...finger bowls needed to wash off the crab, lobster and other bits thrown in. My wife had the the sea bass and she reckons it was most excellent. Service was good and staff very helpful. Lovely location
