We have just returned from what can only be described as a fantastic mini holiday! Paul and family were all very welcoming and always at hand to help. The Posh pod had only been open a week and we all loved the log fired hot tub especially the kids. The configuration of 2 pods close together was a triumph as we travelled with friends but was private if you didn't know your neighbours! The kids loved the farm tour and as for the fishing - well the men in our party were over the moon!!!!!!!!!!! As a fellow reviewer said - I keep telling my friends how wonderful it is but don't want them all to book it up! We will be back!

Have just returned from trip with friends and once again we had a marvellous time. 7 of us stayed in the Bothy which was clean and well turned out as before, everything we could need, and the toilet/shower block was sparkling and heated! Yes, I know it's December, but the wood burner kept us cosy and hypnotised, and the owners were their usual friendly selves. So no hardship really....looking forward to next visit.

Superb base for 7 Stanes and Dumfries area. Very friendly owners, great facilities, close to bike trails of all levels. Have stayed several times in different cabins and have never been disappointed. Toilets and hot showers always clean. You can travel very light due to great shared kitchen or do the campfire cooking thing with the kids. The kind of place you know you should be telling everybody about but don't really want to in case it gets too busy! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend for families for forest walks & rides or experienced riders wanting an intensive 7 stanes MTB trip. Outstanding.

Spent 2 nights in one of the Timber tents with a Friend. Originally as a base for going to the dark skies at Galloway Forrest park until my car decided to pack in on the way back from there to the site on the first night and leaving us without it until it could be fixed :-( The owners were absolutely fantastic we could not of ask for anyone more Friendly or Helpful. We enjoyed the rest of our stay in a lovely location with a nice warm campfire

Already planning a sneaky trip back early in the new year with my other half and the dog :-)

We've just returned home after spending a great 3 nights in one of their excellent wigwams . Myself and my 12 year old son and his best friend used it as a base for mountainbiking around the 7 stanes . Fantastic from start to finish , the wigwams were so warm and quiet and the facilities are superb from showers to washing machine . We will definitely go back again !!
