Very close to the sea and beautiful cliff walks, with easy parking nearby. Excellent butcher opposite and baker nearby; other shops close by including post office and banks. Plenty of places to eat out and visit, and the working harbour is a real feature of Eyemouth. Good transport by bus to Berwick, Edinburgh, St. Abbs etc.
The person who welcomed us was very helpful and friendly, and that makes a huge difference when you are going somewhere new.
St. Ellas Townhouse is well-equipped, and the artwork of the owners is a real bonus.
We would certainly go there again.
Delightful townhouse, beautifully decorated. Loved the Jacuzzi bath! Comfy bed too. Great location. We'll be back.
Lovely flat, didn't quite work for us as it had no outdoor space, but very plush and very comfortable. Enjoyable weekend thank you
Stylish, comfortable place to stay, Close to the beach & a 2 minute stroll to a couple of pubs. a lovely relaxing place to be & Sarah was very helpful with advice to where to go & visit.
will definitely be paying another visit,
We spent a very blustery and rather chilly long weekend in Eyemouth but St. Ellas Townhouse proved to be a perfect haven after our cliff top walks. Very warm and cosy with everything you might need and some lovely pieces of art. We received a warm reception from Sarah who pointed out all the local eateries and even gave our Dalmatian Pippin a welcome treat. Plenty of hot water, lovely under floor heating in the bathroom and kitchen and pretty good Wi Fi connection. All you would need for an interesting break in Eyemouth, hopefully the sun will shine next time we visit!
We had a fantastic holiday here in Eyemouth - two adults a teenager and a dog! The flat is very well-furnished, clean comfortable and warm. Eyemouth itself is great - there are lots of restaurants and take-aways to choose from, a good supermarket and a selection of small shops. We went for long walks along the coast towards St Abbs head - fantastic scenery! We also visited Berwick and Paxton House. Will be back!
