“Well thought out, comfortable and immaculately clean!”

We spent a very blustery and rather chilly long weekend in Eyemouth but St. Ellas Townhouse proved to be a perfect haven after our cliff top walks. Very warm and cosy with everything you might need and some lovely pieces of art. We received a warm reception from Sarah who pointed out all the local eateries and even gave our Dalmatian Pippin a welcome treat. Plenty of hot water, lovely under floor heating in the bathroom and kitchen and pretty good Wi Fi connection. All you would need for an interesting break in Eyemouth, hopefully the sun will shine next time we visit!

We had a fantastic holiday here in Eyemouth - two adults a teenager and a dog! The flat is very well-furnished, clean comfortable and warm. Eyemouth itself is great - there are lots of restaurants and take-aways to choose from, a good supermarket and a selection of small shops. We went for long walks along the coast towards St Abbs head - fantastic scenery! We also visited Berwick and Paxton House. Will be back!

Lovely wee house, well thought out, very well placed for shops and takeaways and close to the harbour, loved the underfloor heating, only small issue was the massage chair had a sign stating it wasn't working.
Had a nice day out in Berwick only 10 mins away by car. Nice wee break.

“And relax!!!”
Reviewed January 31, 2017 for a stay in January 2017

We are staying here right now, 29.01.2017 - 2.02.17 and this is a beautiful house!! Everything has been thought of to make our stay here as comfortable and at home as it could be, from the very warm welcome from Sarah on our arrival, the local knowledge she has, and all the little things you would need to buy when you rent somewhere!! Come to the house before you go to the shops, you'll be as surprised as we were!!
The house is very warm, love the underfloor heating, great shower and with patience had a great jacuzzi bath!! Love the artwork, especially the large piece in the lounge!
There's lots of great places to have a drink or food or shops to buy if you want to self cater.
Eyemouth is a lovely little fishing town with great walks from the door, we took the bus to St Abbs and walked the coastal route back, breathtaking!!
Would we come back to this house absolutely and would we recommend it to our friends mmmmm!!?! Maybe we won't and keep this secret treasure to ourselves!!
Thank you Alan for letting us stay in your home.
