We had a great weekend in the house, it was ideal for a group of 8 friends. The local pub a couple of minutes away was brilliant with good food and beer and Coldingham bay is lovely. Just wish we'd been able to stay longer.
my mum booked St Kilda for my birthday weekend 4th May for 2 nights, it was big enough to accommodate all the family. The village of Auchencrow itself is really picturesque and has 1 pub that does do food. its a short drive to Eyemouth, which we did on the Saturday as the weather was gorgeous, the setting of the house itself is lovely it backs out onto some farm land and there is a horse that grazes there. The kitchen was really well equipped and had everything we needed. My only downsides would be that the bedding could do with being renewed and their was a slight smell when you entered the house, this may have been down to the fact that no one had been in the property for some time and it just needed airing. also the neighbours either side are really close but are detached. and the garden is not south facing so you dont get the sun for long.
