The Inn on Loch Lomond
Ranked #4 of 7 Luss B&B and Inns
Reviewed February 8, 2013

Visited with our parents.
Room comfortable spacious and clean only problem was the squeaky floorboards. The bar was very relaxing and had a great selection of malt whisky for my dad to sample and my husband really enjoyed the beer from Glasgow based West Brewery. We ate in the restaurant, the menu looked quite basic but was actually very good. The breakfast in the morning was very good as well as the usual cereal etc you ordered a hot breakfast from the waitress. Service very good.

Stayed here several times over the last few years, the rooms are great, as is the service, but was very disappointed at the change of menu. Fried food and not mush else...!! Heard many other guests say they weren't at all impressed by the food, and it's not cheap. When I asked why the menu had changed I was informed it was new chefs. It would certainly put me off going back.

Room Tip: Beach house rooms are lovely, what a view...!!!

Booked this is part of a groupon deal and stayed for the one night having dinner and breakfast.Dinner was fantastic,i would go back just for the steak pie alone, and the pub has a very welcoming atmosphere so pop down for a whisky if you have time!
The room itself was great, very comfy double bed,big screen tv although the signal left alot to be desired but we werent there to watch tv anyway.Perfect location for a trip into Luss and various other points around Loch Lomond.
Will definitely be back in the future.

We were gifted with the groupon deal from our bridesmaid and her partner for our engagement. We booked up, upgraded to the Beach House with ease online.
We travelled up and spent time in Luss prior to our check in time (3pm). Luss was beautiful, I strongly recommend a visit if you choose to stay at Inverbeg.
During check in, we were given clear instructions on how to get to the beach house and where to park the car. The man on reception did tell us there would be a lot of space at the beach house to leave the car but there wasn't. This was more down to the ignorant parking of other guests.

Our room was absolutely beautiful, we were delighted. We stayed in Ben More (305). This room contains a double bed and twin beds, flat screen TV, Sky and the most amazing bathroom with rolltop bath. The view was amazing, even from the ground floor.

We did notice the footsteps from the room above but it wasn't bad enough to warrant complaining about and it certainly didn't stop us from getting a good night's sleep.

We ate in the restaurant and sat in the bar area which had a lovely atmosphere. The food was amazing. I wouldn't recommend it if you are on any sort of diet but it was tremendous, proper Scottish chippy stuff served on paper in wooden trays!
We had some drinks later in the evening during the live entertainment which was a man singing with his guitar. The atmosphere and entertainment were both enjoyable. The staff were lovely and the drinks were a tad on the expensive side but this is to be expected from a hotel, I suppose.

Check out was swift. Breakfast was great. My partner enjoyed the bacon, scrambled egg and sausages with toast while I had some cereal (there was a good range) and a croissant. There were a few different pastries available. There was also a continental selection with meats and cheese.

Excellent stay, keen to go back.

Room Tip: Upgrade to the beach house for some luxury!

This was booked as a one night stay in the Ben Lui room in the beach house. Check was nice and easy! Parking at the hotel was very good but at the beach house was VERY limited. The room (304) was lovely! Big room, flat screen TV (with sky), king size bed that was super comfy! Not to forget the amazing view out the window. Bath was a decent size but he waterfall shower was great.
The downfall of this room was that the room was so noisy it was unreal. The room above had what sounded like an army marching up and down constantly! The noise from the from door was horrific, it sounded like people were coming into the door of our room instead of the front door. I wouldn't say we are light sleepers but getting some shut eye was extremely testing! Unfortunately it made us feel like leaving in the middle of the night.

Room Tip: If staying in beach house choose upstairs as this may be quieter and you won't have to worry abo...
