“Great food, good service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 5, 2014 via mobile

The place looks a bit stiff from the outside, but once inside there definitely is a charm to it, not in the least because of friendly and helpful staff. We were in for a quick bite and we got value for money.
The oysters were fresh, taste and nicely accommodated with coriander and red beets sprouts. Lovely sight and a lovely taste.
The toast with salmon were whole wheat and very tasty.
Luss is a nice village, worthwhile a stop and so is the Loch Lomond arms.

“Amazing food, nice decor”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 5, 2014

Loved the food here - went back twice in 2 nights!
Pork belly and lamb were amazing as was the pecan tart - very good value too. Although a large glass of wine will set you back £8!! Buy a bottle....

“Perfect food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 4, 2014 via mobile

For starter I had the fish cakes and I can honestly say the dish was the best starter iv ever had and im not one for raving about anything. All the food we has was all perfectly cooked and very fresh. Our mains were the haddock and pork belly. Both melt in the mouth. The pea sauce wasn't very good but wasn't missed. Table service was perfect, they didn't bother us but were polite, attentative and informative when asked. 1 slight issue is that a bar woman told us they were fully booked but we didn't believe her and phoned when we left and managed to get a table no bother.

“Appalling food, nice location.”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2014 via mobile

I had the pork belly which was basically a big slab of fat with barely a slither of meat on it. Carrots had been soaked in vinegar and were barely edible. £15 for this is laughable. The chef clearly has no pride in his food whatsoever and is willing to send out any rubbish. AVOID!

“A good Scottish meal”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 19, 2014

A very good Scottish meal in super cute Luss village. Friendly atmosphere, good service , nice meals. Nothing very specials but good local products and fresh fish. I want recommend the desserts to creamy for my taste. I liked very much location and ambiance. In a village were everything is very touristic, this place seems authentic.
