I travelled alone with two under nine's (looking for some r&r while with something for the kids). Start with the house, clean comfortable and homey. The view is to die for, girls loved the land at the front of the house, where we acquired two pet sheep for our time as guests. The house has everything a self catering family needs and my daughter is now badgering me for the same soft towels.
The kids once settled with games for the evening left me to enjoy the reading room , if I was after escape from town then that's what I got , birds swooping to get fish from the loch, mist rising from the hills snow capped in their glory!
However did have two little terror's to keep entertained. So the girls and I walked the short distance to the local holiday village where we purchased tickets for swimming play area , had an excellent lunch and the girls enjoyed a spot of zorb balling (don't ask). All round good value fun had by all.
Plenty of space for the kids - relaxing place and great view to wake up to.
Nice, clean accommodation - not far to the local facilities.
Will be back in the warmer weather (warmer for Scotland anyway) !!
