We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Even though it was only one night, we did have our anniversary dinner here. The food was excellent. For dinner we had roasted tomato soup, kipper & whisky mousse appetizer. Our main courses were venison & current pie and roasted local trout with fresh cooked vegetables.
We had a twin room which overlooked Loch Earn. It was very large with comfortable beds and ironed linens. Lovely place to stay. Excellent breakfast as well.

A gem of a hotel in an idyllic setting. The service was excellent
and the room spacious, comfortable and had a fantastic view of the loch. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and
extemely well presented, as were the 2 evening meals that we
enjoyed very much and the bonus of lovely wine not over priced
Thrpoughly enjoyed our short stay and will be back

This is a delightful small hotel in a good location at the northern end of the Trossachs area--an hour's drive or so from Glasgow and from Stirling and close to many of the region's attractions. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable and the loch-side rooms have huge windows looking out over the hills and the loch--beautiful in all weather and at all times of day. The deck off the bar is fine place to sit, chat, and enjoy the view. The owners are friendly and extremely helpful, the food well-cooked with fresh local ingredients. We will definitely return.

Very comfortable and a pleasure to stay here. We were welcomed warmly and had a very pleasant room overlooking the Loch.
We were on a B & B basis , but local advice said that the best meals were to be had at the Hotel , so we had our evening meal there as well. Excellent food, with plently of choice with local produce. Breakfast was equally satisfying .

All in all we can throughly recommend a visit !

We have stayed at the Lochearnhead Hotel a few times now. Robert & Amanda who own the Hotel are very friendly and cannot do enough to make your stay a pleasant one. We now feel like part of the family. The Hotel itself is in a beautiful location overlooking Loch Earn. The Rooms are bright and immaculately clean. Robert is the Chef and serves the most fantastic food. After your meal you can retire to the comfy resident's lounge or have a wee dram in the bar where everyone is very friendly. This has to be one of our favourite hotels and the only downside is having to leave to come home. On the plus side we can always look forward to returning and seeing Robert, Amanda and their lovely kids William and Grace. Would highly recommend this hotel and cannot wait to go back.
